1970′s #72 World Football League Game-Worn Philadelphia Bells Jersey
Certificate No: 24370
This representation is a WFL Philadelphia Bell game jersey worn by #72, Ken Scott and Steve Chomyczak. The jersey is made of medium-weight/medium-sheened white mesh in its entirety. The Bell’s sleeve stripe pattern, 1/2” gold/2” light blue/1/2” gold, is present on each sleeve, and they are placed roughly 2+” above the hemmed open style sleeve edges. The mesh V-neck has dual Swiss-embroidered lockers in non-contrasting white, and the tails are ventless. The lower left front tail sports dual Sand Knit labeling which is straight-stitch affixed. The top is the creatively designed WFL exclusivity designator with color coordinated league logo. The lower label denotes size (XX Large, 50-52) and washing instructions. Both are correct and unaltered. The numerals are screened on in classic Sand Knit font design – full block 10” front "72", full elongated block 12” back "72", and the infamous 4” horizontally dominant sleeve numerals. All are correct in font style, size, color hues and screening. The NOB has been removed and thread/glue remnants remain at and within its outline. Both shoulders show wear and have team repairs.
