1978 Olympic Worn Warm-Up Soccer Jacket

The U.S. Olympic soccer team had a few tune-ups for the 1980 games. Of course, our players didn't know our country would end up boycotting the games in Moscow. This navy blue Adidas zip-up jacket was used in preparation for the games. Three white stripes start at the top of the collar and race down to the ribbed sleeve ends. "USA", moderately cracked, is applied to the verso. Two heavily curled designators ("6" and Adidas) appear in the collar. The jacket was originally obtained by an equipment trainer with the team.
