Winter Olympics 1980 Gold Medal Game Ticket, PSA Graded 8
Certificate No: 21285
Many people think that when the U. S. hockey team beat the Russians in 1980, it had won the gold medal. In fact, that win only allowed the Americans to compete for the gold medal. The U.S. team, comprised mainly college players, went on to defeat Finland in the title game to complete a most memorable run of victories. Pertinent to that championship game is this full ticket - graded PSA "NM-MT 8". Capturing a ticket from this game is enough of a challenge. However, this one is a prize. The corners of this gem show only the lightest of wear, consistent with its professional assessment. Team USA wil forever live in the hearts of our millions. Yes, a bunch of young kids could reach the unattainable.

Wayne Gretzky “51st-Goal-In-41-Games” Actual Goal-Scored Puck w/Oilers Letter
Certificate No: 27138
There are some records which are sacred. Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak, Cal Ripken's consecutive games played, and Wilt Chamberlain's 100-point game are deemed unassailable. Similarly, Wayne Gretzky's scoring 50 goals in 39 games is one of that sport's most treasured records. Offered here is the puck that scored his very next goal, #51, after setting the record - a feat that no NHL player has ever equaled. Gretzky scored the goal in a 4-4 tie versus the Boston Bruins on Jan. 2, 1982. The details of the event are engraved in the brass plate that's affixed to a 7" x 9" wooden plaque (which, in turn, has a drilled wall-mount hole in the center. The puck reflects moderate game wear. The wooden plaque is EX with a couple shallow bruises, while the metal plate is NM/MT. From the archives of the Oilers, the keepsake includes a letter of authenticity signed by Kevin Lowe, the team general manager and former Gretzky teammate.

Wayne Gretzky Record Seven-Point Game Puck w/Team LOA, Actual Puck Used To Score Historic Goal
Certificate No: 27139
In a date with the St. Louis Blues on Feb. 18, 1981, The Great One collected a record seven points in the game - the last to do so, and he did it with this historic keepsake. The details of the five-goal, two-assist performance are engraved in a brass plate that's mounted, along with the puck, to a 7" x 9" wooden plaque, which bears a drilled wall-mount hole in the center. With its assortment of surface abrasions, the puck evidences substantial game use, while the plaque and plate are in remarkable Near Mint condition. This treasure comes from the Edmonton Oilers archives and includes a letter of authenticity signed by general manager Kevin Lowe, a former Gretzky teammate.
The full meaning of this memento is realized when we review the handsomely engraved plaque. Its caption, in conjunction with the thorough LOA provided by the Oilers franchise, serves to elevate this game-used puck to epic moment. In part, the signed LOA testifies that this is "...the puck from Wayne's fifth...goal...and his 7th point of the night..." and that upon that score, it was "...plucked from the net and later mounted (with tape) onto a 7" x 9" wood display plaque..."
It is indeed a profoundly important game-used puck, one that effected a hallmark accomplishment in NHL annals, and one that's directly intimate to the legacy of Wayne Gretzky. Imminently, a treasure even for the most accomplished hockey memorabilia holding.
