Charlie Sanders was one of the most underrated tight ends of the 1960s decade, but the man finally got his Hall of Fame due decades later. The longtime Detroit Lions star used this attractive Honolulu blue-and-silver bag to carry his equipment around back in the day. Identifiers call out his name ("C. Sanders") and uniform number ("88"), confirmation that this is the real deal, indeed.

1967 NFL Championship Game “The Ice Bowl” Program
Certificate No: 45713
Meeting and defeating the Oakland Raiders in the AFL-NFL Championship Game was a mere formality for the mighty Packers of the '67 season. The real championship contest was played on December 31, 1967 to determine the ultimate victors of the National Football League. This game, pitting the hometown Packers against the very able Dallas Cowboys, will forever be remembered as the "Ice Bowl." Conditions were so painful that at least one catalog writer cares not to report the recorded temperatures and wind chills. This was brutal stuff, and we surmise that many of the programs sold at that game were soon ignited for warmth, thereby reducing their availability to collectors today (...just a theory). Fans that day who endured the elements, however, were treated to an exciting game with a storybook conclusion. As the final snap of the game was nigh, Green Bay was in arrears by three points. But, against the Dallas goal line, the Packers threatened with 3rd down and inches to paydirt, while only a few precious seconds remained on the clock. The intrepid Bart Starr followed his blockers for the game-winning TD in a 21-17 thriller. Meanwhile, there's the matter of this program from that unspeakably oppressive event. We advance this keepsake as VG/EX, principally as a function of mild wear at all corners, The cover is acceptably clean and fresh, and there are no folding creases. The pages remain firmly affixed to a tight binding. Brrrrr.

1975 Pittsburgh Steelers Home Game Program Collection (12, w/Post Season) w/Ticket Stubs (No Super Bowl Ticket)
Certificate No: 41224
Barreling through their regular season schedule like men possessed, the Steelers of 1975 ultimately registered a 12-2 record. They then proceeded to dismantle all three challengers in the post-season to emerge the victors of Super Bowl X. As tangible mementos of that glorious season, we here offer the complete set of Steelers home programs pertinent to 1975. Included as well are the two programs corresponding to the pre-season games hosted in Three Rivers. And appropriately, there are furnished programs from all three of the Steelers' post-season tilts. For each of these games, except the Super Bowl, there accompany two ticket stubs which are always found stapled to the centerspread pages. In detail, these programs are: trong>8/9 (pre-season) vs. Eagles - NM; trong>9/6 (pre-season) vs Saints - EX (mild blemishing, light fold); trong>9/28 vs. Bills - NM; trong>10/12 vs. Broncos - EX (light crease on cover); trong>10/19 vs. Bears - EX/MT (light blemishing); trong>11/9 vs. Oilers - EX (mild corner crease); trong>11/16 vs. Chiefs - EX/MT (mild print transfer); trong>12/7 vs. Browns - NM; trong>12/13 vs. Bengels - EX/MT. 1969 Super Bowl III Program (Namath Predication Game Jets vs. Colts)
Certificate No: 45699
Super Bowl III may be the most well-known football contest. We all know what Joe Namath did and the outcome. This was actually the first time which "Super Bowl" was used on a program. This program was available only at the game. There is a more readily available collector’s edition which was sold through mail order and possibly on news stands. Although simply in design, compared to Super Bowl II’s program, at least this program features the game’s subjects going up for a pass. This particular program is NM/MT with only slight age induced toning. The front and back cover and binding are as clean as they were the day this was issued.

O.J. Simpson Trivia Board Game – Prototype, Never Released to the Public, Still Sealed
Certificate No: 39591
When O.J. Simpson was cooped up in jail, his advisors and legal team had to devise ways for the Hall of Fame running back to raise money. While O.J. signed football cards in prison, more money was needed to help pay his substantial legal costs. One of the ideas was to create a "The People vs. O.J. Simpson Trivia" monopoly-style game. This prototype board game was never issued to the public but was drawn up. We have no idea what this game has to offer as the original cellophane is still firmly intact. We can only imagine what type of questions are asked.

WFL Spalding Game Football
Certificate No: 39849
Much like the USFL, the World Football League didn't have a long life. Only two years into its existence, the WFL folded. What was known as the "rebel league" couldn't quite survive, and memorabilia from the circuit is almost extinct. This ball, which no longer holds air, might have seen action on the field. "K" is markered three times on the ball. This may have been a ball used for kicking although we can't confirm it. Orange striping is applied on both ends of the Spalding ball which has "Only Official Ball of the WFL" branded in. Gary Davidson's facsimile signature appears on one panel and a league emblem occupies another panel. Davidson was the commissioner for only one full season, 1974.
